Mucinex, a leading brand in over-the-counter cold and flu remedies, has maintained a blog as part of its digital presence. However, the current layout and navigation of the blog lack efficient tools for users to find relevant content easily. As a UX designer, my task was to redesign the Mucinex blog with a primary focus on implementing a robust filter and sort system.

Mucinex, a leading brand in over-the-counter cold and flu remedies, has maintained a blog as part of its digital presence. However, the current layout and navigation of the blog lack efficient tools for users to find relevant content easily. As a UX designer, my task was to redesign the Mucinex blog with a primary focus on implementing a robust filter and sort system.
Filter Options
Implement filters based on categories such as symptoms, age groups, product types, and health concerns.
Sorting
Allow users to sort articles by relevance, date, popularity, and author.
Clear Navigation
Design intuitive navigation elements, including dropdown menus and sidebar filters, for seamless exploration.
Evaluation & Iteration
Monitor user engagement metrics, including page views, time on page, and click-through rates, to assess the effectiveness of the redesign.
Gather user feedback through surveys, feedback forms, and analytics tools to identify areas for improvement.
Continuously iterate on the design based on user insights and evolving user needs to maintain a user-centric approach.
